Americana Rock band Woody Dodge has released their fifth studio recording EP Volume 1. This collection of original songs are a reflection of our times, including the threatening atmosphere of modern politics, challenging relationships, changing notions of identity, and the cost of standing up for what you believe in.

EP Volume 1 was recorded, engineered, and produced by Mike Gladstone at both ToneSearch and GFI studios. The recording features the long-running Woody Dodge line up with Lambert on voice and guitar, Mark Wilcove on lead guitar, Jon Gary on bass, and Sean Sullivan on drums. Guest performers include Gladstone (JunkyardFieldtrip), Mel Muscarella (Violet Mary, Austin Hollow), and Willie O’Rielly (The Niche).

An EP release event was planned for May 8th, 2020 at Abilene Bar & Lounge, but is in jeopardy due to the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown. Email, or follow social media links for updates.

The EP is available for download from https://woodydodge.bandcamp.com/album/ep-1.

Woody Dodge has been making original music in and around Western New York for more than three decades. Their previous releases include Emma’s Dance, Nature Is Strange, Humble Me, and Better Angels.
